IoT Services Overview
The Avnet Partner Program offers IoT services that are compatible with both Azure and AWS platforms. These services are designed to support and enhance IoT deployments for businesses.
Azure IoT Services:
Avnet’s partnership with Microsoft Azure enables them to provide comprehensive IoT solutions using Azure’s robust cloud infrastructure. Azure IoT services offer a wide range of tools and capabilities for building, managing and scaling IoT applications.
Partner Program leverages Azure IoT Hub, Azure IoT Edge and other Azure services to facilitate seamless connectivity, data processing and analytics for IoT devices.
AWS IoT Services:
Avnet’s partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) empowers them to deliver IoT solutions leveraging AWS IoT services. AWS provides a comprehensive suite of services and features for building scalable and secure IoT applications.
Partner Program leverages AWS IoT Core, AWS IoT Device Management and other AWS services to enable seamless device connectivity, device management, data ingestion, and analysis. With AWS IoT services, Partner Program assists businesses in securely connecting their IoT devices, managing and monitoring fleets of devices, and leveraging AWS’s powerful analytics and machine learning capabilities for actionable insights.
You can choose a service provider according to your requirements.

IoT Service Providers
Click on IoT Service Providers to select your option.
(Screen: IoT Service Provider_Details)
You have the option to provide various details when setting up your IoT solutions, including your service provider’s name, the specific region where you wish to implement your solutions, the instance you want to use and the chosen plan. Additionally, you can choose to become a trusted partner for that service.
Being a trusted partner grants you the status of a Device Authority Approved Partner as well. As a trusted partner, you gain additional privileges, specifically the ability to perform authentication type 6 (X.509) operations. This means that you can sign in and carry out operations on behalf of the trusted partner entity, allowing for enhanced functionality and flexibility in managing and securing your IoT devices.
Note: The change will be reflected in IoTConnect when the devices are connected and assigned certificates as well through KeyStores module.
